Finally, the audio of the much awaited movie, 'Ramayya Vastavayya' is released in a star studded function in Hyderabad on Saturday evening. Many directors, who directed Jr.Ntr previously attended this function along with all the cast(except Shruthi Haasan) & crew of 'Ramayya Vastavayya' were present at the audio release function. Speaking on the stage, the producer of the movie, Dil Raju, has said that he has no doubts that movie will break many records of Tollywood and it will be the highest grosser in all the movies he produced and also in the career of Jr.Ntr. V.V.Vinayak has said that Jr.Ntr is like his younger brother & Jr.Ntr' mother also considers him(Vinayak) as her elder son. He also said that "While we give swords to Jr.Ntr, Harish Shankar for a change gave books to Jr.Ntr & sent him to college again". He also confident that movie will be a blockbuster as everything in the movie looks so fresh. Another director S.S.Rajamouli has said(jokingly) that he was shocked by Jr.Ntr not coming in his usual formal attire of Whites & Blacks. Finally, Jr.Ntr has spoken during the audio launch and said he decided not to hold audio functions in a big way after what was happened during the audio release of 'Baadshah'. And he continued that even though many of his fans are not able to attend the even, he said he was sure they are enjoying the telecast of the event on the Telivision. He also revealed that for the first time he is trying a different modulation in character & body language in this movie and it is all because of Harish Shankar. He finished his speech with a dialogue from the movie which goes like this "Pandem gurram meeda kattali, Simham meeda kaadu". The arena has errupted with applauds when he delivered that dialogue.

The movie features, Samantha & Shruthi Haasan playing female lead roles. S.S.Thamman has given the music to the movie.
