A new movie, 'Maya', by National & Nandi award winner Neelakantha, has been launched recently. The 'Muhurat' function was attended by C.V.Rao, the head of post-production, Annapurna Studios and producer M.V.K.Reddy. The movie is said to be a Psychological thriller. In a press conference held by the production team soon after 'Muhurat' function, the director of this movie, Neelakantha, has said that the movie is based on a story written based on the topic 'Extra Sensory Perception'. Speaking in the same press conference the producer of the movie, M.V.K.Reddy, has said that he is proud to be producing this movie.

Harshavardhan Rane, Avanthika, Sushma Raj, Nandini Rai, Naga Babu, Jhansi, Anitha Chowdary along with others are playing some important roles in this movie. Sekhar Chandra is providing the music to this movie.
