Super hit director, Shankar’s next movie, ‘Manoharudu’(‘I’ in Tamil), is currently under production for the last year or so. The movie features one of the most versatile heroes of South India, Vikram in the male lead role while Amy Jackson is playing the female lead role. Couple of months ago we have reported, what was said to be a story of the movie that was leaked. Well this article is not to more details of that story nor for the confirm whether or not it is indeed the story of ‘Manoharudu’. But this article is to report that the shooting of this movie is in the last stages of its shooting, with Amy Jackson’s part completed and with only few scenes of Vikram are remained to be shot. At present, a song is reported to being shot on Vikram in Chennai. The latest reports from Kollywood also suggest that the movie may be released on April 14th of this year, which is marked as Tamil New Year day. As it is already reported Shankar is planning to release this movie in 17 languages and he is reported to be used a special make up techniques on Vikram, who will be seen in dual role in this movie. The whole delay in the production of this movie is said to be because of this special make up technique, which takes lot of time to put on & get rid of it.

The movie is being made by ‘Aascar’ Ravi Chandran under his own banner 'Aascar Films' and A.R.Rahman will be providing the tunes to the movie.
