Allu Arjun’s “Race Gurram”, which is being jointly made by Nallamalappu Bujji & Dr.Venkateshwara Rao under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions, is now being rumoured to be delayed further in getting released. At first ‘Race Gurram’ was aimed to be released during Sankranthi, but the production team later shifted the release to February because of the ‘Yevadu’ release. But as per the sources close to ‘Mega’ family the movie may further be delayed given the fact that the long awaited debut movie of Sai Dharam Tej, “Rey”, is slated for February 5th release. The project, ‘Rey’, has already delayed for quite some time. And the production team of ‘Race Gurram’ & ‘Mega’ family are reported to be of the view that they should give some buffer period for ‘Rey’, although ‘Race Gurram’ can still be released in February without directly clashing with ‘Rey’. So, they are thinking to shift the release of ‘Race Gurram’ to the month of March.

Allu Arjun is pairing up with Shruthi Haasan for this movie, in which Saloni is also playing a crucial role in it. Surrender Reddy is directing this movie.
