A new movie is being made, which is titled as ‘A Shyam Gopal Varma Film’, featuring character artist Shafi in the title role. The movie is being made jointly by Rakesh Srinivas & V.Vijay Kumar Raju under the banner of Samishti Creations. Rakesh Srinivas is also handling the directional department of this project. On the occasion of the 50% of movie’s shooting, the production team has released a new poster of the movie. By now you would have already understood that this is a satirical story possibly on Ram Gopal Varma. The producers have said that the movie is indeed a satirical crime comedy with the story of a director who directs movies with lot of violence & blood shedding and what circumstances he faces at a particular point of his life.

Zoya Khan is playing the female lead role while Jayaprakash Reddy, Kondavalasa & Satyam Rajesh are playing some of the important roles in this movie. ‘Mantra’ Anand is composing music to this movie.
