The police character has been proved to be lucky for Super Star ‘Mahesh Babu’, with two movies portraying him in that character became huge successes at the box office. In ‘Dhookudu’, Mahesh Babu has entertained the audience in police character with ‘Telangana’ slang and now he is coming up with another police character in an upcoming film ‘Aagadu’ with Rayalaseema slang. The movie is being directed by none other than Srinu Vaitla & 14 Reels Entertainment is producing it. Tamanna is going to pair up with Mahesh Babu for the first time with this movie. Presently the shooting of this movie is being done in a factory in Bellary, Karnataka. Recently, a song was shot on Mahesh Babu and the song is said to be the title song of this movie and at present some key scenes containing the lead cast are being shot.

The movie features Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Nepolian & Sai Kumar along with others in important roles. S.S.Thamman is composing the music to this movie.
