    Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's pretty actress Shruti Haasan could not be his daughter in his upcoming film 'Uthama Villain' directed by Ramesh Arvind. The young actress was the initial choice to play Kamal Haasan's daughter in Uthama Villain but this role eventually went to Poo fame Parvathy.

While there were huge expectations to see the father and daughter duo on the silver screens, Shruti Haasan had said in an interview that it was an offer that she rued missing due to her tight schedules.

Besides Parvathy, the film will feature Andrea Jeremiah in a key role. Apparently, the actress who has already worked with Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam has also seen in the yet-to-be-released sequel Vishwaroopam 2 . Uthama Villain, penned by Kamal Haasan will spans through the life of an ageing superstar.
