This happens to be Prakash Raj’s saving grace for he is in neck deep troubles on and off the screen. Let us see how Ulavacharu Biryani shall fare  at the box office
story : Prakashraj p[lays kalidasu an unmarried archealogist who shares a taste for food with gauri played by sneha  who is also unmarried and is a dubbing artist by profession. Kalidasu’s nephew gifts him a phone and the first call is a wrong call from gauri. After a series of fights , they become good friends owing to their tastes for food. They decide to meet but due to the fear of rejection and apprehension, they send their respective cousins for meeting. This leads to some confusion. The remaining story is all about how the differences are cleared.

Performances :  With such a simple subject, prakash and sneha made it a point that the audience have something to take from the movie. Sneha’s performance was very natural and she delivered the best performance of her career.
Tejas who played prakash’s nphew was decent.

However the film suffers from poor narration and a stale script. The plot was lazily written and screenplay was hazy.

Technical Aspects:-

Camera work is very good and music by maestro ilayaraja was good enough. He still hasn’t lost his magic.  Editing could have been better. There were a lot of unnecessary scenes.

Final verdict : One time watch if you are too bored.
