Autonagar surya : An Honest attempt gone wrong.

News - Autonagar Surya : An Honest Attempt Gone Wrong.   Autonagar surya has finally released this Friday after a lot of financial struggles. Let us check out the movie’s content.  Story: Surya is a resident of autonagar who is raised by an engineer after his parents are murdered and his uncle (saikumar) throws him out. At a tender age of 15, he commits a murder and goes to jail after his friend was brutally murdered by a rowdy gang. Years later, surya wants to setup a garage to design his own battery car after he designs it in the jail. However he keeps on encountering anti social elements. The rest of the movie is all about how surya overcomes all the odds and stands by the people of autonagar. Performances Naga chaitanya came up with a surprising performance.  The role required some intensity and raw emotion and chaithu did his best. However he is very young to carry such powerful roles and the lover boy image he gained does very little help. Samantha had little scope and it was like a cake walk for her.Saikumar had nothing much to do and it is disappointing as the audiences have expected the same prasthanam magic yet again. Madhu, the lead villain looked promising. Raghubabu, brahmanandam, venumadhav were just ok. Technical aspects The movie was very lengthy and tested the audiences’ patience in the second half. After a powerful first half the financial problems were evident in the quality of the movie. Deva katta’s amazing dialogues seem to be in sync with the most though provoking writer of modern times, Ayn Rand. Sadly the movie needed better script writing and execution. Anup Rubens was ordinary for songs but does a good job for the BGM. Cinematography was very ordinary. Final Verdict: Watch it for Deva katta’s dialogues and chaitanya’s performance. Otherwise you could wait for the official DVD. Autonagar surya : An Honest attempt gone wrong.
