Neelakanta previously directed most successful and award winning movies like Show, Missamma and Virodhi etc. The interesting part of this movie is, it is produced by another renowned director Madhura Sreedhar Reddy who directed sensible movies like Sneha Geetham, It’s My Love Story and Backbench Student.

MAAYA is thriller love story with a back drop of ESP (Extrasensory Perception) with a tagline of JARAGABOYEDHI MUNDHE KANAPADITHE. Story of Maaya is first of its kind in Telugu Cinema and it’s made with amazing screenplay.
