Veteran singer S.P.Bala Subramainyam along with prominent actress Laxmi playing a old couple role in a movie directed by 'Mithunam' with the tag line of 'Our parent's love story'. Asked about his parents & memories of them in his life, S.P.Bala Subramainyam has said that he remembers many moments of his time with their parents, he still remembers how they loved all their children, how they used to confront with each other some times, he particularly remembers a 'Diwali' day, on which he asked his parents a new shirt & crackers at the time when they don't have even ten rupees in their hand. He says he never forget that day when he got a beating for asking the crackers, but his father came to him and consled him who later bought him the crackers & a new shirt, also half-sarees for his sisters. He also remebers the words of his father in the last stages of his life, gave him the responsibility of looking after his mom & sisters after him.
