The 'Vodka With Varma' has been launched by Puri Jagannath in Hyderabad yesterday. The book is written by song writer Sira Sri. Speaking in the launch function about the book, Ram Gopal Varma has said that "the 'Naa Istam' book was written in my point of view of what I'm, whereas the 'Vodka With Varma' book was written in others point of view of what I'm". He also said that when he was asked, by the writer of this book, how he defines the life, he replied "To live the life to the end of it as per our wish" is what life is. He also added that he never said that story is not needed for a movie, according to him story is important but emotions are much more important for the movie to be successful. Speaking in the same function, the star director Puri Jagannath has said that he is happy for the oppurtunity to write the first note for the book.

Prominent tollywood personnel as well as some politicians have attended the function.
