Varun Sandesh's upcoming film Chammak Challo, under the direction of Nation Awardee Mr. Nilakanta, will be released during the upcoming Sankranthi festival. Announcing this to the media, Nilakanta has said that Chammak Challo is a love story which will be closer to the hearts of younger generation. He also said that Varun Sandesh will be seen in a different getup in this movie. He added that music provided by the Kiran Varanasi will be a highlight to the movie.

Sanchitha Padukone & Katherine fill up the heroin roles in the movie, which is made by Master Bujji Babu under the banner Sri Sailendra Movies.
