Raasi, was a top heroine in mid to late 1990s in Tollywood and had acted on the sides of heros like Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan and Jagapathi Babu. She got married when she was in peak of her career and distanced herself from the films. She was later seen in movies in which she performed some mature and important roles like Mahesh Babu's Nijam. But she is never been the same as she was in her golden days of her career in the terms of both her performance and looks. But it can change very soon, as she is seen to be lost her weight and became leaner than she was a couple of years ago in a recent photograph of her. Tollywood reports say that she is actively looking for important roles in the movies of some of the big banners. In preparation of that she got herself ready in her new look.
