Senior tollywood technician, Pidugu Subba Rao, who has worked as Production Executive, Production Designer and Executive Producer for many movies, is turned into producer. He has got the experience and name for his ability to plan a movie perfectly. Now he is making a movie called 'Mandodari' under his own production house 'Telugu Vaari cinema'. A young technician who has worked for many movies in directional department is being introduced as director with this movie and he is Konda Rajesh. According to the movie's producer, the movie has been launched on 2nd January on the hands of State Minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana in the Vignan University premises. After being scheduled for 14 days in Guntur, the movie's shooting is been shifted to Hyderabad where it will be shooted for 60 days continously. After that the movie will be shooted in Gandikota village in Kadapa District. The producer has also let media know that the movie is a youthful entertainer and the title 'Mandodari' is very much suited to the movie because of it's subject and story. The movie is a love entertainer that revolves around four boys and a girl. He also added that the story is being worked upon for a over a year and the new artists that are being introduced with this movie are given 6 months training.

Vijay, Dinesh, Sri Paul, Sashank, Samatha, Venkat, Venu Gopal, Jr. Relangi, Sravani, Bhavana, Indra Rani are some of the cast in the movie. Chinni Charan is providing the tunes to the movie.
