Singitham Srinivas's new movie 'Welcome Obama' is been launched in an opening ceremony held here in a small village 'Koru Mamt idi' in West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. The movie will be produced by S.Bharathi Krishna under the banner of Sandalwood Media. On this occasion Singitham Srinivas has spoken to media and said that the movie will be as different & unique as the title itself. Once should not think the movie as a political one because of the title.  The movie will contain entertainment as well as the sentiment and emotions. According to the script the movie will have both national & international cast.

Speaking to the media, the producer of the movie Bharathi Krishna has said that they are very thrilled to make a movie with the experienced director like Singitham Srinivas. According to the story the movie's shooting is started in this village environment. The first schedule will be shooted here in this village itself until March 2nd of this year. The second and third schedules will be shot in Hyderabad & Mumbai. They try to make experimental movies just as they did with serials under their banner.
