Madhura Sreedhar directed movie 'Backbench Student' will be released on 15th of this month. The movie is made by Dr.M.V.K.Reddy under the banner of Shirdi Sai Combines. Mahat Ragavendra is playing the title role while Piaa Bajpai and Archana Kavi will fill the leading actresses roles. The movie is all about a love story of a poor student(in studies), the movie is almost entirely shot in Hyderabad & Vizag. Madhura Sreedhar earlier said that this movie is on the lines of Chetan Bhagat's 'Revolution 20:20'.

Sunil Kashyap has given the tunes to the movie.
