A case was filed on producer Bandla Ganesh in Rayadurgam Police Station, following the death of a fan at the audio launch of the movie 'Baadshah', which was held at Ramanaidu Stuido Grounds, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad. The incident occurred when a small stampede like situation arose when all the fans reached the entrance of the premises, through which Jr.Ntr was supposed to enter, to see their hero from as close as possible. The case was filed under section IPC 304 (A). Some of the fans were also injured in the stampede and the organisers are being criticized for  the lack of proper arrangements and for giving away more passes than they should and could accommodate at the venue.

NTR has finished the event quickly responding to the unfortunate incident and Bandla Ganesh has announced 5 lakhs to help the family of the dead person, although it could do nothing to bring back the lost life.
