Gopichand Mallineni directing 'Balupu', starring 'Mass Maharaja' Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan and Anjali, is gearing up for a possible release in May of this year. The shooting of the film is presently being done in Ramoji Film City. A song on Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan is being shot in Ramoji Film City. It is reported that the song starts off with the words 'Pathikella Chinnadi'. The buzz is that Shruti Haasan will be seen in a very glamorous avatar in this movie.

V.Potluri is producing the movie while Thaman S.S is providing the music.
