Lingaa (2014) Lingeswara (Rajinikanth) plays the scion of a royal family who returns to India after getting ICS studies in England. British appoint him as a collector to Singanoor. The drought situations and the water scarcity move him to the core and he plans to build a dam with the help of Britishers. But things turn around and he resigns his post as collector. Later, King of Gadwal Lingeswara plans to build Singanoor dam with his own expense and with the help of Singanoor villagers. With huge struggle and pressures he completes building the dam. Due to a major misunderstanding Lingeswara leaves the place and villagers lock the temple. After 70 years, Kasi Viswanath makes villagers realize the importance of reopening the Temple with the descendant of Lingeswara. Who is Lingeswara’s heir? Will he help the troubled villagers? forms the rest of the story..

Several intended-punch dialogues, with multiple loaded references to real life, where Rajini claims he is grateful he always had the blessings and support of the people, that with his talent, he could be in Parliament, a CM or even PM, that he has not failed, only delayed his success, all appear as though targetted at the perennial speculation on whether he will or he won't enter politics

Rajnikanth proves that why he is superstar, a movie fully packed with action and drama, everyone must watch it, Rajnikanth won't disappoint...... Awsome Movie.....

overall film full of entertainment it has handle not to move anybody on their seats, rajni sir role everytime something different in their film. recommended watch!
