Kanche (2015) The story was set up in the backdrop of 1930's and 40's and it tracks us back to the Indian scene before independence. We get to meet Dhupati Hari Babu (Varun Tej), a calm and composed lower middle class guy, who is studying to make livelihood. But underneath the soft side he carries angst towards the flaws in the society and how some people are building the fences between people for their own benefits. Seeta Devi (Pragya Jaiswal), the princely girly in the same village, falls in love with Hari Babu. How did the social norms, cruel and crooked mind sets harm their right to live? What made Hari Babu to turn a soldier? Did he win his love? Did he win the war? Did the Kanche (Fence) between people and countries break? You got to watch the film to untie the locks..

good movie, u can watch with family. war scenes can be made much better, I felt heroine bro is hansome than hero. heroine is also good. apart from love between hero n heroine director could have added much more strength to the film.. why our directors think love is the only concept to make a film??? one time watch. enjoy!!!

Superb screenplay just surprised after seeing the movie telugu movie in english flavour. They had used telugu literature poets well in this movie a complete message oriented film . Actress coatumes and jewellery made me mad. Showed up well

The film is poetic at several key moments with lot of depth in writing. War scenes have come out pretty well and supported well by an Epic Background score. The Love Story has been dealt well too barring for the slow pace then and there. It is a Pretty good film when compared to our Mainstream films but obviously isn`t appealing enough to all audiences. If you are one who is tired of Routine stuff and dying to experience some thing new, this is for you. Don`t Miss it!.

Kanche is another film where the plot is challenging and paper work is good but falls short in execution. Acting in most parts is acceptable but the film never tries to captivate its audience through its narration. The story progresses on predictable lines and things become boring, after a while.
