Mariyan (2015) Maryan Joseph (played by Dhanush) is a fisherman in a village named Neerody. He has an auspicious bond with sea and proudly claims himself as "Kadal Raasa" (King of Ocean). There is Panimalar (played by Parvathy) who falls in love with Maryan and doesn’t shy away in confessing it to him. Maryan is loved and longed by Panimalar but sadly her feelings are not reciprocated. The more Maryan tries to keep Panimalar away from him, the closer she tries to get. This eventually leads to Maryan falling for Panimalar..

Dhanush lived like a True fisherman.Superb acting by him.Fantastic Visuals and music.Watch for Dhanush acting and great camera work and music.He was a true KADAL RASA and the movie is very good.

yesterday i am watching preview show movie is historical hit and A.R.Rahuman songs and background music awesome...director kindly take regular movie for tamil language...beautiful movie dhanush and parvathi menon good acting thanks tamil cinema keep it up...

first to say lovers most watch this film n its true story based on novel,superb music,visuals,awsome performance by dhanush n parvathy n beautiful film its take to dhanush next level definetly award wining movie this year 2013,its not for c class audience n story firstclass done by barathbala
