kotha neeruBased on a true story, Kotha Neeru is a movie that shows how westernization affects the people of villages. Kanakayya is a typical village guy having no idea of town and city habits. He gets married to Kamakshi who fairly belongs to town and is well aware of city lifestyle. Kamakshi is unable to adjust in the village, which creates a negative image of her in the mind of Kanakayya's mother. Later, it leads to disputes in the family and they get separated. Meanwhile, Sundaram, a newly appointed Malaria Inspector visits the village and gets attracted towards the beauty of Kamakshi. He wishes to exploit her beauty and to do so, he tries many ways to impress her. Kamakshi also gets captured by the style & manners of Sundaram, but hides her feelings towards him as she thinks that it is an immoral activity.
