Trimurtulu (Hari Krishna) is the village head and a carodpati. His brother-in-law is Krishna Rao (Krishna) who stays in a small house in front of Trimurtulu's mansion. They decide to marry Trimurtulu's son Sambasiva Rao (Karthikeya) off to Krishna Rao's daughter Mahalakshmi (Gajala). Sambasiva and Mahalakshmi are in love. A few days before marriage, Sambasiva tells his mom that he is in love with a Telangana girl called Kavita Reddy (Kalyani). The rest of the story is all about how all ends well.
