Shankar Narayan (Prakash Raj) is a political leader and a man of masses. He wants his son Ajay (Mahesh Babu) to become a political leader. Shankar Narayan is hurt in an accident and goes into coma. Meanwhile Ajay grows up and goes onto become an aggressive cop. And suddenly Shankar Narayan comes out of coma. The rest of the story is all about how Ajay manages to keep the changes under wrap for his father, and takes revenge on the villains at the same time with some unconventional ploys.

Dookudu is a gift by Srinu Vaitla to the 80th year Telugu Industry with full lenth comedy , action ,drama and punches with a beautiful couple ; I enjoyed each frame of it.

Mahesh Babu: Mahesh Babu proved himself again that he is a director%u2019s actor. He has a big heart to allow Brahmanandam to take center stage for a few minutes, though it is Mahesh who creates such situations. One should have a flair to time the comedy of Seenu Vytla and Mahesh does it effortlessly. Mahesh is one of d comedians when he is with Brahmanandam and MS Narayana. Mahesh Babu has also excelled in dialogue delivery by mixing Telangana accent in villain confrontation scenes.My rating 4/5

If I have to describe dookudu in one word, I would say 'Entertainment unlimited'. Mahesh babu comes up with yet another good performance and gives his best. Srini vytla uses Mahesh's comedy timing very well.

But, the real show-stealers are brahmanandam and M.S. Narayana who starred in some hilarious comedy sequences. Prakash Raj comes up with a fine performance and shows us why he is such a versatile actor.

Samantha is decent but doesn't match Mahesh a bit in the glamor department and looks too short infront of him, one wonders why Mahesh runs behind her in the movie.

Screenplay is gripping and comedy is the key as is always the case with Srinu Vytla movies.

Watch it for some good time-pass!
