The latest rumour coming out of film nagar cirlces is that Ram gopal varma is planning the sequel to sensational blockbuster ‘Satya’ as ‘Satya 2’ and varma is planning to pull Sarvanandh in to the role as Satya that J.D.Chankravathy did in the original film ‘Satya’. It was heard that RGV met Sharwanand regarding this project.Satya was the movie that gave a break to J.D in both Tollywood and Bollywood. It seems like the same is going to happen in Sharwanand’s career, atleast in Bollywood as he almost proved himself with the movies like Prasthanam & Gamyam. Members of the Telugu Film Industry staged a protest near the Film Chamber today(07-01-2013), demanding a rollback of Service Tax. Dr. D. Ramanaidu,Allu Aravind, Venkatesh, Nani, Jagapathi Babu, Dr. Murali Mohan, Ali and others participated in the protests.
Those present at the protest have said that the industry faces a grave danger from the service tax and requested the government to consider an immediate rollback of the proposal. “It is a common misconception that film industry people lead very lavish lifestyles and have lots of money. The reality is different. Only the top 10% of the industry members have that kind of money. There are thousands of other members who lead very normal lives. This decade's first and biggest multistarer ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is currently in the final stages of production and the first copy of the film is ready and the makers have booked a slot with the Censor board on January 7th(few hours to go). Mani Sharma had completed the Rerecording work and DTS mixing is at an advanced stage. SVSC is expected to hit the screens on January 11th and premieres are being planned for January 10th. Srikanth Addala is the director of the movie and Mickey J Meyer has composed the music. Dil Raju is the producer of this movie.

Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film in Trivikram Srinivas’ direction is all set to begin from January 22. Samantha is playing the lead role opposite Pawan Kalyan in this family entertainer. Trivikram Srinivas had earlier stated that the film is about human values and it’ll be his first full fledged family entertainer in a really long time. In December, Trivikram Srinivas and Pawan Kalyan had gone to Spain to scout for locationsas most part of the film is going to be shot there.
Apart from Samantha, there’s another heroine in the film. As per the latest reports, Praneetha has been chosen to play the second lead. She had played the lead role in Bava and Saguni in the past, but this will be her biggest project till date in Telugu. More details about the film will be revealed soon. The channel sent a girl posing like a wannabe actress and sought her help to get offers in films and Kinnera went on telling the girl to do like what Vidya Balan did in 'Dirty Picture'. 'Prema Oka Maikam' movie, featuring Charmi in a prostitute role along with the Rahul(Happy Days fame) & Saranya(Premiste fame) in lead roles, has completed it's shooting except for a song. The movie is made by D.Venkata Suresh & K.Surya Srikanth jointly under the banner of Turing Talkies. The movie is directed by Chandu, who previously directed Tenth Class & Notebook.On this occasion the director & producers of the movie have spoken to the media. They have told that a song & some key scenes of the movie were picturised in recently finished schedule near Kurg area. The remaining part of the song will be completed soon. They have said that the movie is nothing but a love story between a prostitute, a writer & a singer. And the movie is musical love story for which the music is provided by M.G.K.Praveen(brother of singer Deepu). This is debut film for the music director. They added that the post production works will be finished by the month end & the movie is planned to be released in the next month.
