Here is another great news for all the Telugu speaking people after the news of NTR's statue has been erected in Parliament, the Tollywood's popular classic 'Mayabazaar' has been choosen as India's greatest movie that ever been made in a poll conducted by CNN-IBN. The nation wide poll was conducted by CNN-IBN on the occasion of 100 Years Of Indian Cinema. What's very interesting part of the result of this nation wide poll is that, 'Mayabazaar' is able to very popular Hindi movies like Sholay and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. The movie has received 16,960(23.91% of) votes. Another Telugu movie Shiva(1989), has managed to get 7th place in the list. Mayabazaar is known for it's VFX, Cinematography and Art Direction with the then available technology. This mythological classic was directed by K.V.Reddy and jointly produced by Nagi Reddy and Chakrapani. The all time great singer & music director has provided the music to this movie. The movie has all time great actors of Tollywood, NTR, ANR, SVR, Savithri, etc., and it was released on March 27, 1957. And later dubbed in Kannada and remade in Tamil.
'Singam - 2' Audio On June 1st & Movie In 2nd Week Of June

The sequel to the super hit movie 'Singam'(Telugu 'Yamudu'), 'Singam - 2'has completed it's shooting. The movie is directed by Hari Gopalakrishnan, who also directed the original movie and it is being made by S.Lakshman Kumar. The movie which will be featuring Surya, just as the original one, is currently getting it's post-production works being done. The movie will also have it's audio released on June 1st and subsequently the movie itself will see a worldwide release in the second week of June. In this regard, the production team has issued a press statement which reads "The film('Singam - 2') is currently undergoing post-production work. It will have a grand audio launch on June 1 followed by worldwise release in the second week of the same month". Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani will be the female leads in the movie. The movie also features Vivek, Santhanam, Radha Ravi, Nassar, Vijay Kumar, K.Vishwanath and Manorama in some important roles. Devi Sri Prasad is providing the beats to the movie.

The shooting of an upcoming of 'Family Hero' Srikanth is being done at a brisk pace. The movie is yet to be named and it is being made by Rajarajeswari Srinivasa Reddy as the production no.2 under the banner of Rajarajeswari Pictures. The movie will be a directorial debut for Journalist Prabhu. Speaking to the media, the producer, Rajarajeswari Srinivasa Reddy has said that the last final shooting schedule of the mvoie will start from 13th of this month and continew till 15th of the month of June. This entire schedule will be shot in & around Hyderabad as well as in Ramoji Film City. The producer has also said that with the completion of this schedule the shooting part of the movie will be completed. Speaking to the media, the director Prabhu has said that Srikanth will play the role of a thief in this movie while the female lead Meghana plays the role of a teacher. He also said that they are planning to release the movie in July. Along with Srikanth & Meghana, Posani Krishna Murali, Chitram Sreenu, Ravi Varma, Karumanchi Raghu are playing some of the important roles in the movie. Sai Karthik is the music director of the movie.

The team of Nagarajuna's upcoming movie 'Bhai', is headed to Europe, Slovania to be specific, for the shooting of some important scens as well as the songs. The 'Bobby Girl' of Tollywood, Richa Gangopadhyay will be seen romancing with 'Greeku Veerudu' in this movie. The movie is being directed by 'Poola Rangadu' fame Veerabhadram Chowdary and is being made by Nagarjuna himself in his home production house, Annapurna Studios. Tamil actor & the husband of actress Sneha, Prasanna, is playing an important role in this movie, while Nathalia Kaur will be seen in an item number of this movie. National Award winning director and 'Naa Autograph' fame, Cheran, is directing a new movie 'Yemito Ee Maya', which is being produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. The movie is being made under the banner of Sravanthi Movies. The movie is featuring, Sharwanand and Nithya Menon as the lead pair. According to the latest reports, the shooting of the movie has been completed a while ago and the post-production works are being done at present. The latest reports are also suggesting the movie is being planned to be released at the end of the June. He said that he added his imagination to his research work in making this movie. The 'Youth Goddess' of South Indian Film Industry, Samantha, has won her first major award in Tamil as she is awarded with 'Best Actress' award in the just now concluded 'Vijaya Tv Awards'.
